Can I sell this book on Amazon or Flipkart later?
No, the Plain Water package distributes exclusively to the official 24by7 Shop to keep costs low. However, if you want Amazon and Flipkart distribution, you can easily upgrade to the Soda Water package before publishing, or purchase our distribution add-ons anytime post-publication.
What happens if my manuscript is longer than 104 pages?
This package includes up to 104 pages (calculated at roughly 325 words per page). If your book exceeds this, extra pages are accommodated at a nominal charge of ₹169 per 8-page block. Your dedicated publishing manager will calculate any overages before formatting begins so there are no surprises.
Can I have color images or graphics inside my book?
No, the Plain Water package is strictly for Black & White interiors to ensure affordable printing for text-heavy books like novels, poetry, and memoirs. If you need full-color interior printing (for children’s books, comics, or graphic novels), you will need to look at our Mint Soda or Premium Soda packages, or request a custom quote.
What does “100% Royalties” actually mean? Are there hidden deductions?
There are no hidden deductions from our side. You keep 100% of the net profit on every sale made through the 24by7 Shop. Net Profit is calculated as: MRP minus CPB (Cost Per Book, which covers the basic printing and assembling cost). Payouts are safely wired directly to your bank account every 3 months.
Is professional editing included in this package?
No, Plain Water requires you to submit a finalized, self-edited manuscript. This is how we keep the package so affordable. If you want professional grammatical polishing, structural editing, and spelling corrections, you can add our editing services à la carte, or choose the Mint Soda package which includes it.
Do I own the copyright to my book?
Absolutely. You remain the undisputed creative author of your written content and retain 100% copyright over your original manuscript under a non-exclusive contract. However, note that formal Government Copyright Registration is not included in this tier (though you retain common-law copyright automatically). You can add Govt. registration as an add-on if needed.
Will I get to check and approve the book before it goes live?
Yes! We send you full digital PDF proofs of both your interior layout and exterior book cover for your explicit approval before anything goes public. You can request changes at this stage. Once you give the final sign-off, the book goes to print and goes live within 14 days.
Can I purchase additional author copies of my book later?
Yes, absolutely! Once your book is published, you can order additional printed author copies directly from us at a steeply discounted production cost whenever you need them for gifts, local events, or personal sales. Your 2 complimentary copies will be shipped to you free of charge anywhere in India upon publication.
